    Is ssdi trust fund going broke I'm worried please I need some replies I'm 50 years old so I need some replies

    But to answer your specific question, read the following from social security.gov:

    As a result of changes to Social Security enacted in 1983, benefits are now expected to be payable in full on a timely basis until 2037, when the trust fund reserves are projected to become exhausted.1 At the point where the reserves are used up, continuing taxes are expected to be enough to pay 76 percent of scheduled benefits.

        I don't see reduced benefits happening, as many people will be impacted. Not sure what they need to do to shore up reserves, but think they will do that at some point. Just my opinion.
