I just received a letter from my lawyer conradulating me on winning my case in federal court after 8 years. I was approved in 2010 to get monthly payments but the judge didn't approve me for the prior 5 years, so my lawyer took it to federal court. they approved me for the five years finally. my questions are:
1) lawyer said it might be several months until I get my award letter, does this mean it will be another long wait until I get paid for the backpay?
2) when they approved me in 2010 I got about a year of backpay and they deducted the 5 months and will they do that again to this new period of time?
3) will my lawyers )binder binder get the full 25% of my award as well as the benefit amount my son gets?
If you can answer these questions I would be so thankful cause although binder and binder won my case finally, they sure are terrible getting ahold of to answer questions.
