I'm at wits end. Had acute onset of Tourette's like symptoms like eye blinking, head jerking, and shoulder shrugging. Then started with arm jerks with my arm feels this tension then jerks upward and either slaps my face repetitively or scratches my head. Also have repetitive leg jerks. My neurologist says rarely happens in MS. Has tried increasing my neurontin, stopping Ampyra and Modafinil and now starting clonazapam to see if these can get under control. Out of work until they stop. A little better but still bad even with all these med changes. Anyone have advice or experience with this type of symptom. Can use any help anyone has.

That sounds difficult to deal with. My first thought was it might be a med induced problem. then I read that you had stopped your meds.
I wonder how long it takes to clear your body of the meds.
Maybe a referral to a movement disorder specialist would be in order if it keeps up. I have leg jerks but they're random, nothing that's repetitive. Hope you get some answers soon.
