Change in pain sensations and tolerance

Anyone else have a change in (acute) pain tolerance?

My acute pain sensations (e.g., touching a hot burner, stubbing toe, banging elbow, leaning joints on a hard surface, etc.) are delayed by about a half a second and when they kick in, it is a radiating pain that ends up feeling excruciating at its peak and then it dissipates.

Also, I really can't tolerate acute pain like that anymore. I was always able to tolerate this type of pain and once sat through a 6 hr tattoo outline, but no way I could do even 10 minutes now.

It's all kind of hard to explain well. I know it's caused by my MS. It's just annoying, lol.

    Anyone else experience these things?

The slightest little bump or drop of a stainless steel utensil hurts like heck on my feet or any sudden jarring, unexpected pain. Seems I over-react and start hurting in a few seconds later.

Dropping plenty on my feet and my reactions are a bit slow, so I seldom miss myself!
