Ladies, I have been off of my DMD since June 4th (Beta) so I can start Tysabri soon. Since being off of my DMD, I have had a really strange period twice. It is not normal at all and a very strange texture even and bright color. My periods have always been very consistent +/- a day so having a period every 2 weeks is a little different. Did you have any strange period issues when you were in your wash out phase to get on Ty or is this something totally different?

Im on Copaxone, not on Ty, but I can tell you that my period has been VERY affected by my DMD. They are powerful drugs!
I agree though, that a Gyno checkup isnt a bad idea. Also mention it to your neuro- they may have heard of other patients with similar issues, even if its not on the official side effect list.Newbie

Not everything is MS or drug related.
I had a recent change to mine, non drug/MS related.
I chose to see my gyno right away and do not regret it.God Bless and have a good day, MaryComment

Strange things can start to happen... i.e. perimenopause.
Low dose BCP can help even things out.
And you thought MS was strange
