After years of being on Copaxone I decided to give tecfidera a try! I am starting to build up quite a bit of scar tissues from the daily injections and its a pain to do the injections. Not to mention that my thighs are now starting to look like a WWI battlefield.
I should get my starter pack sometime next month (God willing the insurance company will not throw any fits) They usually are good about approving the meds I need to have. but it is open enrolment season for insurance and they are changing the carrier again on us.
I usually do not have bad anything from new meds, and I hope this one will be the same.
My Neuro (Dr. Terri Schriner, amazing doctor) recommended taking 325mg of Asprin, and Prilosec with each pill to minimize the symptoms.
I cannot wait to give it a try. I have not had a relapse in 5 years, and have had very clean MRI's each year so here is to continued luck
