    Ocrevus and vaccinations

Hi, I am scheduled to have my first infusion next week and second 15 days later.

I’m wondering if anyone has specifically delayed the infusion until after vaccinations?

I have never had a flu vacination and would prefer not to start now. I had chicken pox as a child.

If I did vaccinations now, I’d have to wait six weeks to start Ocrevus infusions. I don’t want to wait that long to start DMD and because it will be too close to my trip.

My doctor said I could do vaccinations prior to six month infusion.

Any input on your experience would be appreciated.

    Vaccinations and immuno-suppressants...

There is a mainstream MS-specializing neurologist in Ohio that posts lots of YouTube videos here. He has one specifically on vaccinations which would be worth checking out.

In short, try to get vaccines made with a "dead virus" as opposed to a weakened live virus.
