Just an FYI regarding my experience so far.
In December, Doc and I decided on Ocrevus, but he suggested I have a spinal tap since I am JCV positive. He said the tap would confirm if PML was floating around in my brain or spinal fluid. The tap came back negative for PML!
Since then we have been waiting on Medicare/Medicaid, which finally came in last week. Doc called with the good news and we scheduled the infusion.
I had my first infusion today. All went well, no complaints from me. I had a slight headache after the infusion stared. However, that could have been from having only 3 hours of sleep the night before, or from the tense drive thru the rain and heavy traffic. Other than that, no sysptoms, no side effects, no regrets.
We will see how it goes in 2 weeks.
Hoping it will stop new lesions, and slow progression.
