I've been on Avonex about 10 years(maybe a year or so less... I was on Betaseron before that...) and I'm thinking of quitting Avonex and NOT going on any of the MS drugs, they are all way too expensive! I don't have any problems, no flair ups, nothing... It's as if I don't have MS except that my brain MRI shows the same white spots since 2001 but I have no symptoms. I was thinking of going off for 6 months and see what happens, I'd like to get off of it for good...
My question is, has anyone gone off Avonex/MS drugs and been ok after quitting?
