    Fourteen Days In. . .

    Hi All,

It's been fourteen days now since I've starting on Aubagio 7mg. I had been self-injecting Avonex for 25 years too, but just couldn't do it anymore. I'm in my first year in menopause too, and wanted to stop the weekly pokes.

Has anyone stayed on ONLY 7 mg? I know 21 is a better dose, but I'm now age 55 and in menopause. My MS has been inactive for some time with stable MRIs too. A lower dose may be better for the liver IMHO?

Just curious what my fellow MSers know here. ..?

Hope this information is helpful ~

AUBAGIO (teriflunomide) 14 mg was shown to be effective vs placebo in 3 key measures: relapses, brain lesions, and disability progression. AUBAGIO 7 mg was shown to be effective vs placebo in 2 of the 3 key measures—relapses and brain lesions.

Teriflunomide 14 mg reduced relapses by 36.3% versus placebo and 7 mg reduced relapses by 22.3% versus placebo. In the 14 mg-group, the risk of sustained disability progression was reduced by 31.5%; the lower dose did not significantly reduce progression.
