I have been taking Tecfidera since I was diagnosed 4 years ago. It has worked well for me. I have had few side effects and my MRIs haven't changed in the last 4 years. I have also not had a lot of relapses. I had my bloodwork done on May 11 and my liver enzymes have doubled since last May. They are now twice the normal limit. My neurologist told me to stop taking the Tecfidera immediately, which I did. I have an appointment to see my neurologist on Friday, June 2nd.
Has anybody ever had to stop Tecfidera because of elevated liver enzymes? What was the next step?
