    FDA Updates Lemtrada & Gilenya

I just saw these today and they are a few months old but worth a read. They both appear to be very few in numbers but serious. Contact your neurologist if there are questions or concerns.

    Lemtrada (alemtuzumab)

    Gilenya (fingolimod)

For what it's worth. I was on Gilenya from 2010 until 2017 when my neurologist wanted me to switch to Ocrevus. I did well on Gilenya until 2017 when my RRMS started acting up. I just stopped Gileny with no taper. No problems stopping Gilena at all.

Good to hear, thanks for posting. I wonder if changing from one to another had a protective factor? I didn't notice if the data was from people who stopped all meds or not.
