CHANGES AT MSWORLD - MSWORLD'S CLOSURE

We began with a mission and purpose to help others living with MS.

We were excited to get going!

And hit a few bumps along the way…

However, in all seriousness, we remain grateful for our amazing volunteers, members & all who have made MSWorld a valuable resource for all!

July 10, 2024, we celebrated the goodness of these past 28 years. With a heavy heart, we will be ending our services.

We need a financial miracle to keep going forward.

We thank all for your support.

MSWorld's website will close on October 16, 2024.

“I personally want to wish all of you the guidance to find this type of support, as so many do here. Also, my prayers and love extends beyond my understanding. It has been a pleasure to steward this journey.”

God Bless you, Kathleen

    Dental Care

How do you cope with trying to maintain your dental care? I'm reaching out to fellow MSers who may be able to provide much needed input on where to turn for assistance.

I am in my early 50's, divorced, on SSDI and have Medicare only. Although my Medicare Supplement does provide a 20% discount to my dentist, I'll be shelling out $4,000 to reconstruct failing teeth (old fillings) and removal of old root canal posts (gun infections) etc. Even with a discount, I simply cannot afford this.

    Hi there dm0329,

There is help from the MS Foundation, even though it only helps with one visit and one follow up.

"The MS Focus Healthcare Assistance Grant assists uninsured individuals with the cost of visiting their MS specialist as well as dental assistance. The grant, which can pay for one visit and one follow-up, is designed to assist those already diagnosed with MS who may need a visit to their treating physician to renew a prescription or handle other important needs. "

Have you thought about going to a dental college in your area? Maybe they would provide care at a reduced cost.

Call universities with a dental school. The one in my area offers dental care.
He is your friend, your partner, your defender, your dog. You are his life, his love, his leader. He will be yours, faithful and true to the last beat of his heart. You owe it to him to be worthy of such devotion.
