    Hello,do uti more common with a superpubic cathader?Sorry for my spelling?Snoopy what do you think?Thankyou for responses.Dave

    I have no answer for you, but I had to chuckle when I first saw your title. I thought there was some problem with having a UTI and visiting churches in Europe. But I got the picture when I read your post. Good luck with this.

      UTI INFECTIONS

      I have been doing intermittent catherization for over 25 years now. I use a new catheter every time but I also use about 3cc of an ampule of triple strength antibiotic mixed in a 500cc bottle. I have done this for years now without any UTI infection. I do NOT irrigate the bladder I use about 3cc squirted into my urethra. Prior to using this method I would get many infections per year putting me in the hospital.
