    typical areas for ms lesions?

I had an MRI recently which showed some t2 hyperintensities in the bilateral corona radiata and in the anterior corpus callosum. Are these typical areas for MS lesions?

    Hello jmwarren21.

The MRI report will have an impression section which will list possible causes for MRI findings, but is not a diagnosis. Your Neurologist is the best person to answer questions about what your MRI findings mean in you case. This is done through additional testing and Neurological exam. Brain lesions can be due to many things.
