I cannot take this constant ringing in my left ear!!

I'm sorry you are having this problem. It's no fun and I understand as I've had this for 20 years. It's called tinnitus and mine started as clicking, then static, but now it's a high pitched ring. It used to drive me crazy, but now I've sort of gotten used to it by not concentrating on it. Falling asleep is horrible when the world is quiet, but I turn a fan on - it creates a "white noise" and I focus on that.

Let your Dr know what going on and maybe they can do some testing.

So sorry... I know how frustrating it is. Mine is in my right ear and it is constant. Have had all the ENT tests and they decided it is coming from the Central Nervous System. Guess this is another gift from MS.
