    Cog Fog Laugh

So I made an appt. for my 84 year old Mom to get her blood drawn. She goes to the center and they tell her they don't' t have an appt. for anyone with that name. She gives them the print out with the confirmation number, first name matches, last doesn't.

I registered her under her maiden name. She, my father, and the staff had a great laugh...only married 60 years.

Where in the world I pulled that from, not a clue. At least it made Mom feel young

That's funny and I imagine mom must have gotten a good laugh too.

I mis-spelled my own last name once *cringing*. The letter 'u' in my last name sounds like 'oo', and is a common mistake others make when spelling my last name phonetically. I spelled my own last name with the 'oo'. To this day, I just don't know what to make of it, or what the other person must have thought.

Thanks for the laugh! Once I called my neuro's office:

Me: Hello, this is Dr. (her name). May I speak to (insert my name)
            Receptionist: hello? what?
Me: started laughing so hard I peed.

Talk about being embarrassed, but I imagine they've heard it all.
