CHANGES AT MSWORLD - MSWORLD'S CLOSURE

We began with a mission and purpose to help others living with MS.

We were excited to get going!

And hit a few bumps along the way…

However, in all seriousness, we remain grateful for our amazing volunteers, members & all who have made MSWorld a valuable resource for all!

July 10, 2024, we celebrated the goodness of these past 28 years. With a heavy heart, we will be ending our services.

We need a financial miracle to keep going forward.

We thank all for your support.

MSWorld's website will close on October 16, 2024.

“I personally want to wish all of you the guidance to find this type of support, as so many do here. Also, my prayers and love extends beyond my understanding. It has been a pleasure to steward this journey.”

God Bless you, Kathleen

    Broke another toe!

Ugh!!! It happened again. For the 3 time in 2 months I have broken a toe. This is actually the 5th time in a year. The doctor says to wear good shoes all the time and I try to do that. But when I am sleeping and first get out of bed? Losing my balance more and more these days and can't control where my feet go. I am seeing my primary doctor today to see about a device to help me stand when I first get up and possibly a walking device.

    sorry

Sorry this is happening to you.

I am glad that you are seeking the help of primary doc. Maybe some physical therapy might have some more ideas on which assistive device and other suggestions to help with this process.
God Bless and have a good day, Mary

Get out of bed slowly. Sit there a minute and collect your thoughts, and your legs () before you try standing. I wear shoes all the time, except in bed, and the shower, because I can't feel my feet properly.

Get the standing/ walking devices. You might not need them all the time, but they're good to have.

The other thing, do you have low blood pressure in the morning? That can make you dizzy if you stand up too quickly.
