    bulging discs/osteoporosis

Maybe this doesn't fit here but I'm sure a lot of us fight these problems.

I have Osteoporosis (just dx) and many many bulging discs in my back (Spondylosis). I've been noticing that as time goes on I'm having a very hard time turning to the left to shoot my Copaxone in my left hip. It hurts my right side, arm, shoulder, underarm, shoulder.

I can ask my husband to give me my shot, but I'd just rather do it myself. I do use the "gun".

So if anyone else has this problem, let me know your suggestions and experiences. Thanks
    Marti

Hi there! I saw your note, I too, have bulging discs, etc. My Neuro doc sent me to a dr. who is a pain specialist, he's given me 2 of 3 epidural injections in my spine to see if this helps. Seems better, we'll see when the 3rd one's done.

Meantime, I find it's important to pace myself, this is crucial! if I work around the house or garden, or any other physical activity, I need to stop after an hour or so and sit for at least an hour. I try not to take pain meds unless I absolutely have to.

Good luck to you (and me)!
