So I live in Ma for the summer and Fl flor the summer. I was wondering since my dr is in. n.j. And almost never there any more.
Thanks I would appreciate any help
Dr. Carolina Ionete at UMass Memorial is excellent. I went to her for a second opinion and her exam was thorough and followed up with a 5 page write up. She also publishes in the field. Good luck.
Thanks everyone I didn't realize it got posted twice I couldn't find it when I looked for it. I will check out these drs and the ms society in both places
Dr Sheremata in Miami, if he's still practicing. He actually conducted one of the MS trials in the early 1990's, so he has more than just a practice interest in MS.

I go to the University of Miami MS Center of Excellence. Great doctors who actually take the time to treat you like a patient instead of a number. I always get a call-back and they're very proactive when it comes to your health. Hard to get into though, so make your appointment now. I see Dr. Melissa Ortega. I actually drive two hours to see her from the west coast of Florida. Will be a quick drive for you.

Is this at Jackson memorial hospital in Miami I graduated nursing school there when it was much smaller thanks I live in aventura so for me it's not far.
Thanks I will try to get in.
I live in Palm Beach County but also go to UM. Going through the process and am currently a patient of Sheramata. He is next to impossible to get on the phone and you will have to deal with his "assistants" who can't tell you anything.
Friend whose daughter has MS and is on the board of the MSS gave me 4 other names of MS specialists who are excellent. They are all within easy driving distance to you.
Personally I'm not thrilled with Sheramata and if dxed with MS, will be changing doctors. Let me know if you want the other names (one is the head of the MS Center at Jackson.
Payablon.
Thanks I would like. The other names in case I can't get into the other name given to me. I appreciate your help I am used to a dr that calls me back at the end of his day and comes in early if he wants to talk to me. I know I am spoiled. I am in Ma for the summer wrote him a noted faxed it and he still calls even if. He knows I can't come in. He is my first. And only neurologist from 1999
Thanks
