    BG-12, now known as Tecfidera, was approved by the FDA today!!!!!!

    YaY! A story in Boston.com said "The company said it expects to start making the drug available within days." Days! it will take the insurance companies longer to get going on it but it isn't far away now!

            Thanks for the link! Other than the drug being in the form of a pill, is there any other reason for the hype? Personally, I am also a psoriasis patient, and the Avonex I take now makes that condition worse, whereas BG 12 could very well improve, rather than exasperate, that condition.

              If I understand correctly, it's far more effective than the CRABs, but with fairly minor, not life threatening side effects. The pill form is just the icing on the cake.
