my problem is my legs fill up with water the next thing that happens is the top of my head gets very sensitive and I get a chest infection and water runs down my nose had this twice since xmas I have ppms has anybody else had this happen to them

Are you taking medication that has a side effect of peripheral edema?

Do you have another medical condition that causes peripheral edema? A heart condition?

arkwright, I had a similar problem with peripheral edema a year ago. It was diagnosed as lymph edema which is more descriptive than diagnostic. The thought was it was probably due to decreased mobility. I am wheelchair dependent. It did finally resolve and hasn't returned. I agree with javaddict that it needs to be worked up to R/O treatable causes. Take care Dale
