My list of symptoms is now too long to, well, for want of a shorter word, list.
Usually I just, "I'm not too bad, all things considered", if anyone asks.
So when filling in my application for the disability pension with my doctor, I was slightly astonished. (I never got round to collecting all my financial details last year, so we had to do it again.)
You need a certain number of points and I qualified after the second question. It took a lot longer last year. This time the "mobility" and "strength" sections were enough.
She may be encouraging me to get my act together.
Frankly, it's a wonder I can do anything at all.
