I just read headline "World News" about the heat wave in Austrailia.

I hope that all of you MS'ers, "down under" have a good way to stay COOL!!!!

In the US, we have no idea what it must be like (given the climate, government, housing is so different from us).

hey no offense INTENDED at ALL, but when I read about the heat wave, I really did think to myself (humorously) "must be the heat from MS people" The article was discussing that new "colors" were needed to show "heat levels", that is CRAZY

Like most media stuff they are getting a wee tad overexcited and mountains are being diligently crafted out of molehills

Yes, it's very hot, but it's summer and it's always hot. Those 48 degree temperatures you'll be seeing on the news are taken at places out in the middle of a desert.

That said, it's 43 here today, and I am wearing an ice vest. Not fashionable, not comfortable, not light, but delightfully chilly. You couldn't hug me because your fingers would stick to the ice, but thanks for the thought.
