    Pixilated Vision?

I do not know how to describe it anyother way! It is like looking at your TV in bad weather when the screen gets all messed up. I am very dizzy, can't stay awake and my MS hug is very active too. I can usually improve with rest and 0.5mg lorazepam.

My question is what does the eye thing mean? Is that just normal MS eye stuff?

Is it all the time, or does it come and go? I had something very similar early on for a few seconds at a time and my neuro said it sounded like optical migraines. He's not an ophth though, but he's very experienced ms specialist, so he's probably right.

Mostly when I am tired or stressed. I can't read at all or watch TV. Just trying puts me to sleep. It is so frusturating! This last time it lasted 2 or 3 days. I have been ill with a virus (?).I'm falling asleep just doing this post! I am on Gilenya and love it!

I get thses too! I described it as kalidioscope (sp?) eye. My neuro also said they were optical migranes. They are not painful, just annoying. They come and go for no reason and not at any specific time.

Sorry! I have not replied but my eyes are just now clearing up! It is very hard to read or write when it is like that. I agree it is not painful... Why do they call it a Migraine?? My Migraines are VERYYY painful!!

Optic Neuritis.......I have had ON twice.
Pixils is exactly the way to describe my vision at times.

Go see your eye doctor especially if you have MS.
ON was my presenting symptom that led to my diagnosis in 2008.

Yup, I call it Kaleidoscope vision also. It especially happens when I am too warm, and they call that Uhtoff's Phenomenon. I just get through it, as I know there's nothing that can be done about it.
