    hmmmm.....

wow...well, I had meningitis when I was 21 years old, and I think that got the ball rolling, I had it again when I was 32, and diagnosed with Adult Onset Epilepsy when I was 42. The signs for MS were there for years....finally a full diagnosis on my 51st birthday, this year. Happy Birthday to me -

First symptom was probably an arm that went numb for week when I was a senior in college. Every few years I'd have some sort of neurological symptom, but it would clear up within a month, and I'd move on. When a bunch of symptoms hit at once and I lost mobility for awhile, I started down the road to diagnosis...I was in my mid 40's.

        5 or 6 years

My neuro said earlier this year that he thought I'd had it about 5 years. That seems right to me. It was only in 2009 that I started having the gait difficulty that led to the diagnosis. Prior to that my main symptoms were constipation & difficulty emptying bladder & frequent uti's.
