Leaking, frequency ?

Are leaking and frequency common problems? GYN says no problems physically down there.
I tried vesicare for a very short time... Can't remember if it worked, what I mainly remember is the dry dry mouth.

Yes, they are very common with MS. I just read the other day that the % of people with these problems is pretty high. Not sure what I read, maybe 50 %?

True, there are several threads about this in the Ladies Room. The first MS specialist I saw (Dr. Schapiro in MN) said that urinary symptoms are very common, that he sees them in the vast majority of his patients, even the ones with very mild disease. I thought that was interesting. It was my first symptom.
I tried Detrol LA about two years ago and it didn't work and caused dry mouth. I'm now on Vesicare and it does cause dry mouth somewhat but I've been using Biotene products and Halls sugar-free lozenges and that helps. It's been very effective for me. (I just started on it about 2 weeks ago.)

Urology problems are extremely common with MS. You probably should see a Neuro-Urologist, they deal with the nerves and their affect on Urological problems.
