Followed up with my neuro yesterday (MRI after fall in May).
He said that I do not have MS and said that spoke with the local MS specialist that was also baffled.
Neuro stated that most of my symptoms are from the ruptured disk but he can't explain the recurrent dizziness (has not returned since steroids).
I asked him why the steroids and ms meds seemed to work. He said that steroids are used to treat herniations and that the MS meds didn't really do anything (other than leave marks and cause an allergy to act up).
Where do I go from here I asked. I call and go in if I have major symptoms again. They will re-check the disk and see if they need to do more than steroids.
He plans to speak with a different neurosurgeon and see if I need PT or a second opinion.
So, I guess I will leave the board. I will keep you all in mind. I appreciate the support and love I have received this past nearly two years. Thank you all so much.
