Doctor Recommendations - Dallas Area

Hi All,

First of all thanks for providing such great information about MS and support for people.

A little history - my DH went in for a brain MRI for a different reason and they found MS like lesions. But all other tests like LP, Spinal MRI, blood work, EEG etc all came in normal. And he has no symptoms so far. Our Neuro is wanting us to go to one of the MS specialists in Dallas, Does anybody have any good recommendation of MS docs in Dallas Area ?

Thank you all. It has been tough past couple months to come to terms with what we might have to face. We are still debating if we should consider Meds or wait till some symptoms to show up.

What would you recommend ?

I have been a patient of Dr. Audrey Stein-Goldings for some time now and I have been very satisfied with her. She is a neurologist. I started seeing her several years after my diagnosis because I wasn't satisfied with the neurologist that I had. I don't know if she's considered an "M.S. Specialist" or not, but at my first visit with her, she spent over an hour with me not only doing an examination and reviewing my MRIs and labwork, but also explaining everything in terms I could understand.

Also, when I had my first exacerbation (or at least the first one that was recognized as an exacerbation) I was initially diagnosed with brain cancer. That turned out to be wrong, but it made M.S. seem a whole lot better.
