MRI results

Well today I called for my results of my MRI and and and.......... SO SO very EXCITED.. They said that there were no new changes and the Lesion that they found last May has
(strunk) I don not know if that is a word lol but I am using it.
My lesions that have developed in the past always stayed the same, but but never have they ever got smaller. SO, I have to say that my Neuro doesn't think I need to go on therapy, which i haven't been on for a yr because of medical issues I had.
So for now it is save to say I do not need therapy right now. Maybe just just maybe my Ms is in remission
I knew that 2011 was going to be so much better then the last 2yrs.

Glad your MRI reports seems favorable, but as far as not needing a DMD therapy, is there a chance you don't have M.S. and the lesions are a result of something else? Were you on a DMDs before? Eliminating treatment is not conventional when it comes to M.S. (unless the patients decided to wave it on their own).

I've had "unchanged" MRIs but the theory was that my DMDs were doing their job. Discontinuing therapy was never mentioned.

Due to my medical issues that I have had this past yr it has damged my immune system to where I have to be careful with not getting sick.

My Neuro is one of the Best in Connecticut, he would not but me in harms way if he didn't think it was not a good idea. He does not think I need to go on DMD for right now because of my immune system, if my immune system does go back to normal then he will put me on a DMD. Thankyou though foryour thoughts

Dear Kari,
I didn't even notice you were from CT. Who is your doc? I see Dr. Guarnaccia, and M.S. Specialist at Griffin Hospital. Used to see Peter Greco at St. Mary's in Waterbury. Both are O.K., but it's not like I'm best friends with them or anything. Hey it's hot today!
