"The Lion and the Ocean"

Felicia Foote
11/2/07

One day a Mighty Lion stumbled upon the most Amazing place...the Ocean.  The air was fresh, the breeze calming, and a mystical paste and powder melted beneath his paws.  It was the most beautiful site he had ever laid eyes on and also the saltiest water he had ever tasted.

Well, the Lion, being King of the Jungle, felt he could conquer the Mighty Ocean.  He tried and tried using every technique known to him.  He almost wore himself down and was about to give up.

On THAT day, Ocean spoke to him.  "Why do you try so hard to conquer me?  I do not feel I am any more or any less stronger than you!!!  You need not fear me if you choose."

Ocean and Lion stopped and stared at one another.  Then they started to spin and dance and twirl.  They danced and they spun and they spun and they twirled.  The Sun set, the Moon rose;  soon the Weeks and Months passed by;  Rains began to fall; the Earth turned to Balance; the Winds spun to Harmony; then There was Peace
throughout the Lands.

The End
