This is what the main chat room looks like when you log on.

The chat dialogue is in the largest box on the screen. You type your message in the rectangular box below that and above 'Help.'

To the upper right are several icons. After you select a name from the list on the right, you can read their bio or talk privately. The list of nicknames shows everyone in the chat room.

To go to another room, select Rooms and click on the room you want to enter. The number next to each room name shows how many people are in that room.

In the lower right of the screen, is Settings, Logout and Send.

Settings is where you go to choose your avatar, or picture, next  to your name. The anchor is the default, automatic, picture.

Next to that is the button to logout.

The send message button may be used to send a message you have typed. But it is easier to hit 'enter' on your keyboard to send messages.
