Changing forms and hues

Race through the sun-lit background

             of the sky

     Cat and mouse

     Tortoise and hare

Winds add momentum, sun-rays the

               palette

Scene I ends and flows into Scene II

     Cats become bats

     Tortoises now castles

Scene III begins with splashes of

               tints and shades

Purple and tangerine dolphins

              swim in turquoise waves

     Finding the setting sun

The play ends, best show in town

To return on the morrow

     New players

     New dreams
