 "THREE FACES"

by Mrs. Amy Brimmer
April, 2007

In my greatest times of trouble and strife,

I’ve looked at three faces, they have saved my life.

If I were to leave them, how would they do?

They need me badly and I need them too.

Each one a sweet flower, each one a bright star,

They keep me from ever straying too far.

Close to home it is better, protected from above,

With my three little angels, there will always be love.

The moments I treasure, the days I hold most dear,

Are the days they were all sent from Heaven to here.

My husband, my best friend, my soul mate, their father,

Don’t question my love for him, you’ve no need to bother.

These gifts from you Lord, I will cherish each day,

Until you call my name and I am sent your way.

Even then I’ll watch over them, hold them in my heart,

Just as I have done from the very start.

Three faces who have saved me, they are my pride,

I will stay with them forever, no stopping this ride.
