Susan's Sophie
by Susan Giguere

Cat_Sophie1.jpg

My name is Susan Giguere and I was diagnosed with MS in June of 2007. What a shocker!! My granddaughter is eight years old.  She knew from my talking and my daughter telling her that I always had a cat, that I loved cats.  My husband and I decided that it wasn’t a good time for us to get one.

Well, my granddaughter talked with her mother and thought that it would be good for me to have a kitten to love.  She brought me this beautiful kitten that I call Sophie.  She is like a child to me and I love her dearly.  This is the best gift that I have ever gotten and on my “bad days” Sophie helps me tremendously.  She is very smart and gives me so much love.  I thank God that I have her.
