In memory of
Jackie Grumley

May 23, 1932 to November 29, 2001

Jackie Grumley was my mom. She loved and cared about me more than words can say. She was very worried and concerned when I first was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis and wanted to learn as much as she could about it. A day never went by that my mom didn't call and ask me how I was doing. She would even ask if I needed help, even though she wasn't capable of really helping. She just wanted to know she was doing something for me.

My mom fell ill in October of 2001 and came to live with me so that I could care for her. She always thought she was a burden to everyone but I assured her that with all the care and nurturing she gave me through the years, this was my turn to give back to her. That is how much I loved her.

I love you Mom. I will never forget you.
