"A Funny Thing Happened
on the Way to Chat Last Night"

I'm sharing a story that happened to me tonight just as I was heading into chat (for those that don't know I'm a OP).  I'm scheduled to co-host chat on Wednesday nights.

I was attempting to fix a broken paint roller. (I hate the throw-away world we live in). So, I got out my Gorilla Glue and poured it down in the handle so I could use it tomorrow while painting. I had already tried masking tape. Of course that didn't work.

OK, back to the Gorilla Glue.....The paint roller fell off the counter where I had placed it to dry. The stuff even expanded. I picked up the paint roller....got the stuff all over my hands. First I got a paper towel to wipe off my hands. Then the paper towel stuck to my hands. I then got the mineral spirits out.....hands pretty much still stuck...went for the fingernail polish remover....still stuck.

OK.  By now I'm late for the Chat....can't use the computer, or I'll stick to the keyboard. So, I contacted another OP....said OK will let her know why I'm not in chat.  I hate standing people up.

The pants that I was wearing fell off.  Yes, they did.....can't pull them back up or they will stick to my hands.  I finally thought about hand lotion. To my surprise, my fingers are no longer stuck together. I worked most of the night with the lotion. There is still a little bit left on them, but at least I'm not sticking to myself.

Please beware of Gorilla Glue.
It really does work.
