Tonight the pain is not leaving
Yesterday there was none –


The snow first fell this year
And yet there appeared the sun-


I am like the weather
What will tomorrow bring –


Answer my prayer my angel
Take away these episodes and

Make my heart-thirsty voice sing –
I, too, want to go out and play


As days now long ago have passed –
God's earth, fresh air and peace –


Let me enjoy just one more day –
A river flows to no end free


What we love and cherish is our own –
We make do; at least I try


I am not ready for my Angel home –
Tonight though I truly plea,


A now it is late you see
I need rest, set my body MS free


My Angel I ask of thee.
