Meet Ron, aka mshunter

Hi! I'm mshunter (Ron). I'm married and have a son from a previous marriage. We have two dogs. Bobber is a 105 lb. Rottweiler and Brook is a American Water Spaniel. They are just like our kids.

I enjoy hunting, fishing, working with my dogs, gardening, cooking, football ... and just lying around. I have a whole wall of mounted animals in our living room. My wife doesn't really like them there, but where else can I go with them? She has adjusted to it. I guess she really had no choice!

Speaking of my wife...Her name is Jennifer and she is a super person. She is very supportive of me and worries a lot about me and my MS. But, I guess that is her job...as she tells me.

I got my MS diagnosis in 1995. It started with numbness in my feet. As time when on, the numbness spread. I was now numb from my neck down. My regular doctor said it was caused by anxiety about my upcoming wedding. Well, after the wedding, I went to the neurologist. He did two MRIs and a spinal tap. Six weeks after we got married, I was diagnosed with MS. What a great wedding present!

I think I have dealt with it as best I can. Life goes on! It's really hard for my wife, but she is here for me, so that is a blessing.
