Apple Taffy Cake
submitted by Ron AKA Roundboy

Ingredients:

1 pkg. yellow cake mix
1 cup water
cup butter or margarine
4 eggs
¾ cup graham cracker crumbs
1½ tsp. cinnamon
2½ cups chopped, peeled apples
¾ cup brown sugar

Grease & flour 13"x 9" inch pan.

In a large bowl, combine cake mix (dry), water, butter, eggs, graham cracker crumbs and cinnamon on low speed for 30 seconds, scraping bowl frequently.

Beat on medium, scraping bowl occasionally,
for 2 minutes.

Fold in apples.

Pour into pan.

Sprinkle evenly with brown sugar.

Bake at 350ºF until cake pulls away from sides of pan and wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean – about 38-43 minutes. Cool completely.

Enjoy. – Ron
