Arroyo Seco Shadows
by Judy Rogers

Art_Arroyo_Rogers.jpg

My name is Judy Rogers. I am from Amarillo, Texas. I was diagnosed with MS in 2002. Art has always been a big part of my life. I studied art throughout my schooling and eventually recieved two degrees in art – one from Texas Tech Univ. and the other from West Texas A&M University.

My painting has been a safe haven for me and is a way I can encourage others through my work. I hope others see how God has blessed me through my work and in turn be a blessing to them.

This church has been a favorite subject for me to paint and I think I have painted it in every season and from every angle. It is located in Arroyo Seco, New Mexico on the road to the ski mountains. What a serene place to worship the Lord.
