I am wondering if anybody here can give me any insight to this dx I just received from a CT scan. I was doing a follow CT scan from a year ago due to a couple spots found on my lungs and I picked up my results and it states "moderate splenomagaly". When I had the exam the tech. told me I would be getting a call from my Dr. the following day (last year it took 5 days for my Dr. to receive the results). So needless to say I became instantly worried.
The problem is my Dr's office called me on Thurs. and again on Fri. and I missed the call both times and when I called back they were closed. I am not sure what causes an enlarged spleen and I wasn't sure if having MS could cause this to happen.
I'm just wondering if anybody here has heard of this and any association with MS or even taking Avonex if this could cause this. I have done some research on Dr. google and so far I am dx with leukemia or AIDS so I decided I would be done searching as I don't have either of those.
