Day Number One

With all the helpful tips I've read on this site regarding starting Tecfidera I can say that my first day of medication went really well.
No side effects.
1 Bayer asprin 1 hour before eating
1 Zantac 1/2 hour before eating
Take pill half way thru eating
Drink lots of water at meals and throughout the day
eat a light lunch or just a snack

Happy to be treating my MS again.....

Day 7

Well I guess I am doing OK compared to some here that have started taking tecfidera.
Today is day 7....the last day of 1/2 dose. Tomorrow I start the 240mg.
So far I have had no side effects so we'll see if that changes with the stronger dose.
The only draw back I have a problem with is being tied to a strict eating schedule. I may try to change that when I am sure that I can handle the new dose.
As far as my MS goes its doing its thing still but not expecting that to change because of this drug...that is not what this drug is all about.

glad it well! hope it continues on the full dose. I have been doing well on Tec. Start day May 3...my head itches but I will take that over doing shots!
