I have 3 options for drugs

Hey, so, my neuro wants me to get on a more powerful, stronger drug that has better efficany than Copaxone. I have been on Copaxone for 2 years. Ever since starting it, I have had only one lesion, so it's worked really good.

So, my three choices are Tysabri, Gilenya & Tecifedera.

She says Tysabri is the best. But, the huge side effects.
I did bloodwork for the JC Virus for Tysabri.

Gilenya as well kinda scares me with the side fx..

I think I am leaning towards Tecifedera.

If you had a choice, what would you do?

I was on Rebif for about 7-8 years and switched to Tecfidera because Rebif wasn't helping anymore. The side effects have been minimal (knock on wood). Since you are jcv - that gives you another option because I think people do well on that. Don't know much about Gilenya but I know people chose it because it was a pill but now there is Tecfidera. Best of luck with whatever you choose!

it sounds like copaxone is working really well for you. unless the side effects are horrible, why rock the boat?
