    still jerking

    I'm just back from my doctor she's upped my baclofen to twice 3 times a day! Told me to keep taking the heavy duty sleeping tablet's and also written me a letter to go to hospital if I want to go in.
    It's a bit complicated because I want to try a new neurologist in another hospital but I'm getting my Tysabri on friday in my regular hospital so that would clash! Plus I don't really want to go in to hospital.
    And I'm ment to be going to dublin friday as well for the weekend??
    I just want to stop jerking I think I've lost weight from it as well.
    It's world MS day in Ireland on wednesday in a hotel near me it's on for the day maybe i can speak to someone there?? Is it world MS day in America to? If it isn't it's a bit of a lie saying it's world MS day really

    My mistake it's world MS day the 26th of may not this Wednesday my brain has melted from all the jerking and twitching.

        I take Baclofen & Neurontin, it helps, but does take time to "kick in".
        Have a great trip even for a day it's good to get away.
        Yes we have World MS Day here in USA.

          No oral steroid's maybe if i go into the hospital they'd give me the IV ones?? That's if i decide to go in that is.
          But maybe if I go to Dublin zoo like this I'll end up in a cage.
          You have to laugh don't you or you'll go mad!!

            Mary..instead of going into the hosp..could you ask your doc to try oral steroids and stay home?

              Thanks for the tip but the oral steroids never normally work for me it's the IV that normally does the trick!
              I only got some IV steroids in January I hate the side effects from them I always feel worse after them for at least a week until I feel better.
              If this keeps up I might have no choice but to go into hospital in Ireland you have to get the steroids in hospital
              Like the picture you seem nice and happy in it
