Medication Denial

Just curious if anyone's had their doctor's office (family practice not my neuro) tell them to call the insurance company themselves when the insurer has denied to cover a brand name drug. If anyone has, have you been successful in getting your insurer to cover the drug?
I've been on these medications for years.

No, I haven't had that experience. My doctors have told me that they are my 'advocate'. I have made it abundantly clear that I rely on them for their expertise, advice and advocacy. When I find that my doctors aren't doing enough for me, I find a new one. Good luck
