My mom died in 2000 from the affects of MS. My MS had had a completely different course than my mom's. For my mother she was wheelchair bound within 3 years of diagnosis and was in a nursing home within 10 years. For me I was dx'd in 1995 and today I am still walking with a rollator and driving short distances. I don't feel that MS symptoms follow the same family like a MS diagnosis can.
