    tysabri

    Hello -

At what age are you supposed to stop taking tysabri?

It doesn't have anything to do with age. It has to do with your JCV status. If you are JCV negative you can stay on Tysabri longer than if you are JCV positive depending on your risk tolerance. The more years your are on Ty the greater your risk for developing PML. I know people in their 70's on Tysabri. I also know people who have been on Tysabri for 12 years and are not that old. It depends on your risk tolerance and JCV status.

    Take care
