    RITUXAN

As I was attempting to get on here, I stumbled into an email with a question about Rituxan. I have used Rituxan for 3 years. It has been a fabulous treatment for me. Two infusions a year (some people just need one). My MRI's have always shown stable & occasionally some improvement.
Fantastic drug. My MS Specialist's favorite. I am on it "off label".

    Me too!

Rituxan has been great for me. No obvious side effects and it is a great help.

      Rituxan

      rollingstones7 and MSLazarus....

Were you on a drug before starting Rituxan? If so, what were you taking? Did you have a wash out period?

MSLazarus...how long have you been on Rituxan? Are you also using it off label?

rollingstones7...why do some people not need two infusions a year?

Any infusions site reactions? Anything else you can share. I'm considering Rituxan

      Thanks

I have been on many meds...all helpful!

        Hi..
I did Betaseron from the beginning of its release...that must have been 1993?
I have used Avonex and copaxone also. Then I did IVIg for seven years...140g a month. This is a huge amount and cost about seventy thousand a month. Then I did Novantrone until I reached the maximum amount you can take. I have been on rituxan now for three to four years.
I do lots of symptom management drugs daily.

I respond well to the meds I do and am still walking and crawling.
I have a small farm and am able to do my share of work too!

There is a lot I can not do and life is drastically different but I am still managing to struggle through.
