Concerning lies and Neuro's.
True story...
I had a lot of trouble finding an MS Specialist in my network. I saw a few Neurologist's who were not MS Specialists and a few MS Specialists that turned me away because I was not in Network. Because I have a Medicare based Advantage plan, they will not let you pay out of pocket.
This Neuro. had never heard of this...moron red flag 1.
The Neuro. suggested I simply lie and say I don't have Medicare....moron red flag 2.
The Neuro. did refer me to my current MS Specialist...knew her from Residency.
The Neuro. was a moron and recommended telling a huge lie...but he did come through big time on the referral.
